Paul is a an avid supporter of Free and Open Source Software and the community that has been built up around this amazing collection of work. It literally touches everyone, everyday and makes the whole internet work the fantastic way that it does.
Paul is currently employed as a System Administrator for Quantum Rocksoft in Adelaide.
He has been messing around with Linux since 1.0 and has various other dubious Linux qualifications, including having an 'insignificant bit' (typo) patch accepted into Linux. He made several presentations to [1] LinuxSA, the South Australian Linux User Group, and is a local community Linux advocat and member of Ubuntu and the Ubuntu-Au team.
He has experience with:

- Open Source Software Development
- Perl Programming
- Linux and Free and Open Source Software Advocacy
- Working with the Ubuntu and Australian Linux Communities
Oh yes.. and he once studies Physics and Mathematics.

MawsonLakes.Org aims to be a useful community service, concentrating on bringing the experience, liveliness and feeling of adventure that comes from discovering new and exciting things.
This website has been through several iterations and transitions (it's currently in another one) but the aim has always been to help bring the community together with local and relevant news and information.
